I love nothing more than starting my day, walking the dog and listening to a good podcast. It’s the 1st hour of my day once I’ve dropped the kids off and it sets me up nicely. There are so many different ones out there, as well as entertaining, they can be educational and totally inspiring. I’m constantly recommending them to my friends and family, so I thought I would share some of my favourites with you too. I love reading but don’t often find the time to sit down with a book so podcasts are perfect to have on in the background, they make all the boring tasks much more enjoyable too! My kids are at an age where they have music on constantly so Podcasts are also a great way of switching off from that. I am obsessed with the ability to learn while I am driving, cooking or doing chores like ironing and cleaning, you’ll always find me listening to a podcast. My favourites are ones that are full of inspiration, business advice and personal development. Working for yourself can be pretty lonely sometimes and you don’t always have someone around to bounce ideas off or get advice from. It’s also great to hear advice and tips from people on a similar journey or how entrepreneurs started their business and took it to where it is today.
1. The High Low
This is my absolute favourite at the moment, it’s the one that I recommend to friends and they always love it! The High Low is a weekly pop culture/news podcast by journalists Dolly Alderton and Pandora Sykes. It is the perfect mix of current affairs, gossip, interviews and fun chat! Dolly and Pandora are hugely relatable and I always feel a little bit more knowledgable after each episode!

2. Goal Digger
The Goal Digger Podcast by Jenna Kutcher has been a constant guidance for me since starting my own business. She talks about things from how to write a better bio, the importance of growing your email list and exactly how to do it, through to social media tips and the top apps that she can’t live without. She also interviews some amazing guests who are experts and share their knowledge. I would highly recommend if you have your own business or if you’re thinking about it in the near future.
