We all love to shop right?! So thought I’d share a few of my favourite interior purchases with you that I’ve recently made and also how I’ve styled them in my home.

First is this fabulous Goose Feather pendant lampshade from Primrose and Plum. I wasn’t sure which room I was going to use this in when I ordered it but I just loved it! When it arrived I unpacked it in my dining room and before I knew it I was hanging it in there! I love how it softens the dark Farrow and Ball, off black walls and gives it a fresh, summery look. So I’ve decided to keep it in there for now. My daughter keeps asking for it in her room, it is such a flexible lampshade, I think it would look amazing in any room. They also do a light brown version which I’m tempted to order for my bedroom!

After playing around with a lightbox at my friends house the kids (and maybe myself!!!) realised how much fun you can have with them so I thought I would treat them to one (no….I know what you’re thinking! It wasn’t for me!!) Whilst I was ordering my Feather lampshade they just happened to have one in stock!!! As you can see below it has been a huge hit already, you really can get creative and have lot’s of fun with them!

According to my Husband I am a “cactus geek!” In my opinion you can never have too many. I’ve been looking for a pop of colour for my kitchen, so when I spotted this Sass & Belle Cactus circus light I just fell in love… such a perfect combo! So pleased with it, looks great against my black board wall.

I’m loving all the hanging planters around at the minute. There are so many lovely ones available ranging from macrame to metal to glass in all different shapes and sizes. They look great hung individually for a simple statement or grouped together to create a focal point. I chose 2 from Rockett St George, a 70’s style macrame one and this distressed metal one with leather strap. Here’s where I’ve put them. They look great alongside my faux Agave and sequin belly basket

And finally I’m like a magpie, drawn to all things metallic at the minute so I couldn’t resist this cheese plant metal bowl and cactus candle stick from H&M (which seem to have disappeared from their website but i’m sure will be back in stock soon), along with a Bella Freud candle which has been on my wish list for a while now. It was half price at The Cult & Classic so I couldn’t really say no! It smells so good and once it’s burnt down i’ll use it for make up brushes so I would say well worth every penny… would you not??!
