This week’s post is short and sweet as I’ve just had a lovely family holiday in Majorca so I’m drowning in a sea of washing right now but I’ll be back on track for next week! If you read last weeks post you will have had the tour of my dressing room. I have to say, I’m loving having somewhere that I can apply make up, dry my hair and just get ready in peace. Well I say peace but I’ve usually got the kids fighting me for the mirror in a morning to do their hair! One thing I love is that my dressing table has lots of storage for all my make-up essentials, it really helps to keep the surface tidy. If yours doesn’t have much storage then I’ve put together a mood board with some of my dressing table essentials, a few of which are at the top of my wish list, especially the Jonathan Adler prozac jar. I love the idea of using it to store cotton buds. H&M Home have a gorgeous range of gold storage, everything from trays to storage baskets. When it comes to storage try to think of different ways to make your space feel unique, I love using empty candle jars, toothbrush holders and pretty glasses for keeping things like make-up brushes, nail polishes and lipsticks together. Acrylic storage boxes from MUJI are also useful to keep things like eyeliners and eyeshadows in. You can see more images over on Pinterest.
