I was recently contacted by the lovely people at The French bedroom company who asked me if I would be their blogger of the month for February. Of course I was delighted! They Kindly asked me to choose a few items from their website. It wasn’t until I was browsing that I realised the variety of products that they sell and also how many of them I wanted to add to my basket! Not only do they sell beautiful, French, feminine furniture as the name suggests, they also have a beautiful range of quirky lighting and some unique accessories for your home. I’m not the most decisive person at the best of times but I fell in love with the Springbok Hide rug and the Lisbon linen pillowcases in ivory. You can shop some of my other favourites below.
The springbok rug arrived in beautifully wrapped packaging and didn’t disappoint. It is so soft and silky in warm shades of brown and cream. Of course I had to test it out in different places around the house so here are my 3 ways to style it.
Which do you prefer? I was torn between all three, It’s draped over my Ercol rocking chair at the moment which is my quiet spot for when I want to curl up with a book or a magazine. It’s always good to swap things around from time to time and move items to different rooms. Gives them a new lease of life and almost feels like you’ve been out and bought something new, do you ever do that?
The Lisbon Linen pillowcases are 100% linen and beautifully soft. For me nothing beats linen bedding, I love the soft, wrinkly texture and how it keeps you cool in summer but warm in winter. It lasts for ever and gets better with age! These pillow cases have a mother of pearl button fastening to stop your pillows peaking out….. does anyone else find that annoying??!
So as I mentioned earlier, I didn’t realise that FBC sold so many beautiful items. I was spoilt for choice once I started browsing. Here are my top accessory picks:
I would love to hear what your favourites are?
