A few years ago I bought a book called Purls of wisdom….The book of knitting. All because {don’t laugh} I had seen a cafetière cosy {see image below} in a magazine that was hand knitted using a pattern in this book so in one of my crazy moments I thought right… I want a knitted cafetière cosy…..I’m going to learn how to knit! I have been able to do simple stitches ever since my Nan showed me how when I was about six years old so in my head it was going to be a doddle! The intention was there…. but it’s just never happened so the book is sat looking pretty on my bookcase! Do you ever do that? Maybe one day when the kids are older I’ll have more time for hobbies.
